honestly once you get below a 4, my ratings are all inconsistent and shit cause what a 3 could mean to me in one genre might equate a 3.5 in another or like a 2 for something else, and that's not even factoring in nostalgia or memorability or a plethora of other variables
in other words, I guess 4s are cool
4.5s and 5s are the only things I bother to differentiate between

Yeah, I'd say between 4s and 5s are the things that I usually come back to. Almost everything under a 4 is something that I've listened to a couple of times, possibly even thought was really good, and then just left it behind forever haha

There the two I honestly care about getting right yeah, though I can have a hard time differentiating between 4s and 3.5s.

Same. I think I only insta 5d once or twice and they've definitely been knocked down to 4.5. To be fair I rarely insta 4.5, I like to stay with a record a while before doing so.

This is unfortunately the case for me as well haha though I'd say I'm the same with everything under 3.5 rather than 4
