Colored Sands is my fav Gorguts album, followed by Obscura, so I don't fear their wankiest and darker albums... But this EP feels so disjointed and pointless (at least the first half).

Yeah that's how I feel about Obscura, there are days where I can't jam it, but when I do... oh boy! I'll always remember the first time I've listened to it. It was my first Gorguts album and I wasn't sure if I hated it or loved it... it was just so dissonant and somehow... disgusting? But in a good way?



Can't say Pleiades' Dust is hitting nearly as hard though. Sounds almost like songs that didn't make it on CS were mashed together and recorded on that EP.



It's still 100% Gorguts though. So it's good for sure.
