Yeah there’s something about him, he has no presence either. Comparing him to the vocalist on this...that opening roar on “Adrenaline”, it’s just not the same.

Eh. I still think he played it way too safe with his range. He had pretty awesome sounding highs but never used them. Monotony is never good in vocals. His lows were good they just got boring. The new guy lacks range AND his style of choice is bad. So by comparison yeah Alex is looking pretty decent right now.

Before I resolve to drop a review I wanted to really let it sink in. I'm....having a hard time seeing what is so bad about it. It doesn't have standouts like Void Alone or Sapphire, but I'm not hearing anything that really bothers me either.
RE the vocals...he's alright? Sometimes it really works, and I get At the Gates / BM vibes, others I ignore him like I ignore half of metal screamers. I will say that I don't particularly love the lyrics.
