I don't think this can really be applied to Deftones. Can't really say anything Deftones have done was specifically done just to get on the radio except for Back to School. I can't think of anything from their post White Pony discograghy except for maybe Hole In the Earth, Sextape, and Swerve City that would even get played on your average rock radio station.
