Same. Song also got me into playing the guitar. That whole middle section with the clean guitar and the lead playing is insanely good.

The Weak Willed is easily a top 3 highlight of this album I have never heard someone disagree on that

One of the best albums in metalcore

How is it possible that this album so goes as hard as it does

anybody know of more melocore that has the same kind of energy and power as this? I can't really think of very many. this thing is just nonstop riffs, solos, and soaring melodies
I know all the big leaguers and a lot of B- and C-tier bands and nothing comes close.

Darkest Hour's Deliver Us
Unearth's The Oncoming Storm
Shadows Fall's The War Within

know 'em all, they rule but don't scratch the same itch as this does. Unearth and Darkest Hour come close though

Parkway Drive's first album is probably the closest I've heard to something with the same energy

I have never been too big on Parkway Drive. Mebbe I'll give that one another go
Are you familiar with Son of Aurelius? They are a riff factory of a band, if I have ever heard one, and have an ear for melody, too. Both of their albums are really good, but their 2nd one might be a little more what you are looking for in terms of something like this
Son of Aurelius - The Farthest Reaches / Under a Western Sun

@heck peep This or The Apocalypse - Dead Years if you haven't already

If you don't mind a bit o religulous in your lyrics, Wolves at the Gate might tickle yo fancy
Wolves at the Gate - Captors
And in case you missed since I was last post of prev page:
Son of Aurelius - Farthest Reaches / Under a Western Sun

been meaning to check out Wolves at the Gate, I don't mind religious as long as they're not super preachy. like just along these lines, Haste the Day and War of Ages are a couple bands that come close to the sound I'm looking for
I'll check Sons of Aurelius too

Yeah, Haste the Day - Attack of the Wolf King was another one that I had ready to go, but you had that, too, lol
Never realized how much stuff you have rated before, like damn. Was having to reach a little deep in my core musics to find something that at least wasn't in your ratings

Son of Aurelius Return to Arms is my first song hearing them and sounds great with good mixing and great bass

The Offering - Home
This might also do something for ya and not in the ol ratings list. Vocalist has an insane range and band backs him up very nicely

Main thing I recall about this album is This Calling and that there's another track where Phil straight up goes "MOOOOOOOOOOOO" at the beginning lol. Phil was in a pretty solid death/doom band before All that Remains. I think they were called Perpetual Doom if I remember correctly. I used to have their demo and was shocked when I saw he was in the band
