First two are essential

Newer stuff is good too but the last two veer pretty hard into the industrial/electronic elements

Make sure you hit the debut EP too. Bit unrefined but I think that's part of the charm, and imo it's some of their best

I liked it but probably the least of the 3. This is the first one where I felt the production didn’t work for it. I typically hate people that complain about production unless it’s egregious cause it feels lazy but seriously the prod on Liminal has very poor layering to the point where it’s muddied and you can’t always tell what’s going on musically at any great clarity. The chorus in particular. And it even sorta kills the feature cause Garrett sounds like Stephen lol.

The dirty crunchy vibe works for the verses and the rhythm guitar but when the leads come in and stuff especially on the chorus it all blends in a disorienting way

Repeat listens help once you get familiar with it. Honestly the end guitar swell got me hype for Gnasher lol

Dreamer > Coward > AotWK for me. Their older stuff was nice but didn't hit the same as those 3 albums for me. Glad they're back making new music though!

I need to give it a proper listen but I'm glad I'm ignorant or just immune to almost all production issues lol

It's gotta be like lofi bm recorded on a tin can for me to notice
