Routine keeps me in line

Helps me pass the time

Helps me to sleep

Ok I watched it, the banter in between songs was slightly unnecessary filler

His interviews aren't like that. If you compare his interviews from face culture now and from 5 years ago, there isn't that much difference

Pretty good album.. Not all it's been made out to be though. Also, "Hand.Cannot.Erase" is the dumbest album title I've seen in a while.

For some reason it's fashionable to hate on SW these days, I think quite wrongfully. The guy is a jerk, Blackfield is shit, No-Man is an average Talk Talk rip-off and most of his PT stuff is overrated, but let's give some credit where it's due, ok?

On the Sunday of Life was very original at the time and actually there's still nothing that sounds quite like it. The Sky Moves Sideways fuses floydian prog-rock with electronic and folk music. Stupid Dream is a bridge between King Crimson and Sonic Youth. And the first two Bass Communion records are just great. Not even mentioning Storm Corrosion.

So while I don't think the man deserves half the praise he gets, and most of it is completely misplaced (like Deadwing wtf), he still deserves some recognition.

A great record. He really has stepped up his game with this one, truly one of his best offerings.

Saw him perform live on his tour of this. It was by no means a terrible gig but since he's super hit and miss with me (more so miss) but I will admit the title track of Raven was pretty great live. Didn't dig the stuff on this album much tho so yeah you know wateva.

The more I listen to this album, the more I love it. It's not an instant love but it for sure is a grower.

6/10 first listen. Might have to bump up my rating in a bit.

"The guy is a jerk"

What does that have to do with his music?

Nothing at all and that was exactly the point of my post - SW has done some worthy (no masterpieces, but still) stuff even if he or even most of his projects suck.

How is he a jerk? Every interview I've seen him in he gives solid intelligent answers to the questions and he's been very humble. Aside from the stupid iPod thing, I wouldn't call him a jerk.
