Just realized how different this is from Unknown Pleasures.

This is way more experimental.

Yeah mate, it happens. England is still quite awful when it comes to mental health.

Yeah, my sister moved to Australia (she works in mental health), because the outlook on it other there is much more positive than it here. I think I saw in a film as well about an Englishman that moved to America for the same reason and he said in England you're considered 'Sick' and in America you're 'getting better'. It's quite true. Seriously if people are off at my place due to depression or anxiety they get slagged off harsh behind their backs - called lazy, etc.

yeah unfortunately a lot of people can be very close minded about mental health issues

seems to be more of a thing with older people too i've noticed like 'we didn't put up with that shit in my day rah rah rah'

like it's easy for people to say that stuff you know but they can't fathom what it must be like to actually be suffering from something like that

not that i can talk or anythin like i haven't experienced any great sadness or anythin that hasn't been directly caused by events in life that you go 'oh yeah of course that'll bum you out' but man can you imagine just wakin up every single day feeling like curtis must have... heavy shit
