bti marked the beginning for me tbh. he was always good doing safe stuff (goofy standup, childish youtube skits, goofy lovable character on Community, fun pun-based rap, etc.). BTI however marks the beginning of getting out of his comfort zone. he leaves Community, features in some movies, opens up to his fans about his life, and pours all of his energy into making stuff he actually cares about. sure so far there's been a couple failures (STN MTN) but that comes with the process of experimentation. Atlanta is a brilliant show. like honestly one of the best out there rn. he's coming into his prime and if Pharos is amazing then he really is at the top of his game.

This was essentially the first time he showed promise as a musician even the few good songs on Camp were still simple, fun bangers not really anything special at all

Atlanta is brilliant, I agree, and I can respect the rest of that, I've accepted that even though I like BTI, there's something special in it that I see sometimes, but not always. But with Con's review and all these ratings, I can honestly see Gambino being considered one of the best right now, and all I'm waiting for is for Pharos to blow my mind.

Ease up con. I really liked the script but the ending was a tad confusing. Did the boy die or...?

I love it a lot. It's exactly the sort of thing I needed to hear to make me excited for that movie.

For some reason when they announced a black dude for L in the Death Note movie I instantly thought of his performance in The Martian and thought that he would've killed it hard
