because it's common knowledge amongst:
a) people who actually went through the evolution of the scene/were a part of it (people who actually lived during the 80s)
b) people who actually do their research, of which on sputnik, are a minority
i dont think theres more than 5 sputnikkers in the a) category, and probably no more than that in the b) category either

re-reading the thread i will say that i wasn't articulate enough in describing how sodom's debut could be considered death metal, because i didn't think it was necessary
like if you can hear the death metal in hellhammer and celtic frost how the fuck can you not hear it in sodom's debut? i don't play guitar and im not very good at describing music with words so it's hard for me to "describe it's death-metalness" but like just LISTEN to the fucking album and imagine its 84 and youre hearing it for the first time... that's fucking death metal to your ears my friend
