Thats weird, I remember Frank saying how much Gallows admired AFI when they were younger. Anyways this band needs to release a new album or at least tour again. Can't believe it was 3 years ago I saw them

This is a really bad record...er band. You may wonder why I would even speak, honestly Its because the site says I Give too many 5's (because I only rated records I loved) so now I'm diversifying.
One thing that was weird for me was the mention that the pop-ness of this angered their "punk" fans. Now I don't get it because this is not a punk band its a pop band. they don't have punk fans. I'm not a punk and I'm not saying there is anything wrong with pop. I am just saying that punks live in squats and eat out of dumpsters (not exclusively either mind you), punks are disenfranchised and fed up, but most of all punks are anti establishment system fucking people who dont support major label artists. For whatever thats worth, better or worse this band by default can not have punk fans.

This album is genius. Didn't get into them until the Crash Love era, but love all their stuff. I saw them a few times on the Crash Love tour and they put on a great show. Met all of the band too. Really nice guys.

Hard so for me to name a favorite song on here but I'd go with Bleed Black. Before my iTunes got reset I'm pretty sure each song here has minimum 200 plays. Still one of my favorite bands/albums

AFI was kinda known for those openers at one point. The opener on Black Sails is probably my fav just because. The ones on Art of Drowning and Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes are also badass
