As a fan of the band for the last decade I've never been disappointed by a release, and they're almost 30yrs deep. Don't come back to many pure dm records like i do their's and Death's. Nice name btw siim lol

Top tier for sure even though they've become cool to hate a few places

i think calling them "cool to hate" is a bit disingenuous

I saw them play Mayhem a few years ago and they tore the house down. Perfect execution. As far as metal goes I've only seen AAL and Anthrax perform on that level of tightness.

Everything Mayhem has done post-De Mysteriis is underrated as hell around here.

Esoteric Warfare is a top tier bm album.

same with later throne, same even with post-anthems emperor to a lesser degree

and same with a lot of enslaved's middle period although that's more overlooked, i mean rather than ppl not liking it its more like they dont even check it at all

I haven't heard all of Behemoth's early stuff but what I have heard is hit or miss tbh. Some of it rules and some of it kinda blows lol.

Glad to see Esoteric Warfare get some shine. Love that album. And trust me there's a good handful of forums and a few other places where they're definitely cool to hate. Pack mentality got people delusional

One of the best at being average and the most consistently overrated.

Yeah you're dumb if you think this band is average. They're popular for a reason lol.

im dumb if I dont like a generic cookie cutter death metal band hawks? LOL your dumb if you think cannibal corpse are popular for any other reason than shocking people with their cheesy edge lord lyrics.

being popular makes something good does it? Well I suppose justin timberlake is better than any death metal band then because hes more popular.

The only dumb one is u buddy
