brad and tim remain one of the greatest rhythm duos in the history of rock, goddamn can they write (and smash out) a groove that can make motherfuckers move

I have a lot of respect for every member of this band and yeah I think tom and, to some extent, zack get a lot of the glory but tim and brad are great. Tim is actually probably my favorite bassist of all time. Used to not be crazy about brad but the more I listened to them, his style brings everyone's sound together perfectly. His playing is super tight and he rips shit up on EE

there's a reason why even audioslave has its appeal and it's because choruses like cochise and show me how to live hit like a damn truck via brad and tim (obviously tom's riffing helps)

Brad is just the fucking king of playing precisely what the song needs at all times.

Yeah, Brad is one of the grooviest drummers in rock. Saw him when he toured with the Smashing Pumpkins a few years ago, dude killed it

also reminder that born of a broken man is the best song here and one of their best overall, also has tom's best riff arguably

BORN OF A BROKEN MAN

BUT NOT A BROKEN MAN

That's such a tune!

Actually this album is surprising colourful imo. Never thought I would use this word for a RATM album tbh

Born of a Broken Man indeed has one of Tom's top riffs

Came back to this after years of not listening to any RATM. This grooves harder than I remember.
