They are kind of similar chord progression, never noticed that before.

I think I would listen to Type 3 over Inevitable as well. I dunno, their slower stuff doesn't do it for me as much as their upbeat stuff. I do love Unwinding Cable Car and Down though.

I don't like this as much as sputnik. Cities is still my favorite from them by quite a distance.

Okay, what's that... really low-pitched 'noise' that comes in at 0:34 of Innocent? It's really bothering me and it doesn't even sound like an instrument.

A synth huh? That's what I was thinking. It's so distracting. But yeah, this album is significantly better with a set of headphones. The instruments are clearer and don't melt together as much, though it's still not as crisp as their other releases

The only thing that really bugs me is the vocal effects in the chorus of Modern Age. That could've been my favorite track if not for that.

It's still one of my favorites but yeah it bugs me because it could've been even better

Yeah I'm with ttb. I'm actually listening to it right now, and I just don't get the point of it. Just one example of overproduction in this album. There's a lot of unnecessary stuff, like that thing in Innocent

this might be the worst job sprinkle's ever done, production-wise. I'm used to Sprinkle albums being very clear across every instrument.

not enough to lower my rating below a 4 or anything but still.

What has Sprinkles done besides Anberlin's older stuff?

Anyways this album rules, really wanna promote it but not to a 5. I wish this were on a 10 point scale so I could 9.5 this

He has done a lot of Tooth and Nail releases. MxPx, Emery, stuff like that.

Ah that'd explain why he didn't do New Surrender and why I know like no other bands whose albums he's produced

Unstable rules so much. I really want to hear the other b-side (not Safe Here or Unstable... forget what it's called) but I don't know where to

The only way I know is getting it thru Best Buy, they were exclusive tracks. They haven't seemed to pop up on Youtube yet. Here are the song names:

I found the 2 Best Buy bonus tracks floating around on a certain website...a bay of pirates, if you will. The tracks are awesome, as expected.

Also, I'm going to see Anberlin live in 11 days and it's going to be the best day of my life.
