anessfytheize is one of their best songs but yea fear is one of the most overrated records ever
|

title track is beautiful so far but i thought this was prog rock not trip hop
|
| |
i dig their metal albums tbh but their psych era is far better ...and ya the incident is gay and
easily worst pt
|
| |
oh here comes the rock
|
| |
Yeah by modern PT I was referring to thir post-Lightbulb Sun albums.
First PT I heard was FOABP and I hated it. Second PT album I heard was Deadwing which I thought was decent but not good enough to warrant looking further into their discog, which I didn't do until much much later.

wait till fadeaway oh man

I only really like the band's psych era so I think it's reasonable to think that someone else might feel the same way so I don't see a problem with starting with this album. If I'd started here it certainly would have made the process of getting into the band much quicker for me.

I actually like the prog metal era of PT more than this era, although The Sky Moves Sideways and Signify are awesome.
|
| |
Fair enough JT, I think Deadwing is pretty sweet though
I mean Arriving Somewhere come on man
|
| |
Arriving Somewhere is awesome, I can agree with you there. By far my favourite modern PT song. That's the one song that keeps me coming back to Deadwing every once in a while.

Yeah I really don't like Lazarus either. It's better than Halo though, god I hate that song.
|
| |

|
| |

Don't get me started on Wilson's lyrics.
