What kind of wheat thins? The regular kind? If so then yes. The Tomato Basil ones, though? Debatable.

I loved that section!

The band said on the last track that there was a kind of 70's pun influence. I have not yet discovered it, and I don't think I'd really want to....

It's so rad. I think you mean punk lol. I stared at your comment for a minute or so thinking how the fuck does a band incorporate a 70's pun haha

Haha, a bit of a typo there-but yeah, I indeed meant 'punk'.

I also read an interview with the band in which Grutle Kjellson himself said that "the band had been listening to Biffy Clyro, Madonna and The Ramones before recording Riitiir"...

I'd still bone Madonna.

Finally got around to giving this a proper listen, pretty great stuff though the cleans remind me slightly of Novembers Doom.

This album is incredible! Took me a few spins to really get the hang of it, but each new listen

rewarded me with something new that I didn't hear before. Great review of a great album from a great

band!

Fave tracks (so far): Death in the Eyes of Dawn, Roots of the Mountain, Storm of Memories.

Also, I need to come to Sputnik more. I see a lot of people I could possibly piss off :P

Roots of the Mountain especially, gawddamn. I like just about everything on here so I might bump my score after a few more listens.

Yeah I've been saying Death in the Eyes of Dawn and Roots of the Mountain are two of the best songs they've ever made since the day I heard this.

Yeah Death in the Eyes of Dawn is one of my favorites off here too. I thought Veilburner was gonna be a meh for me, it's actually NOT. Loving this song. The title track rules too, just everything.
