I've had that and Autumn Eternal sitting on an external for a long fucking time now so they are pretty much primed and ready to go... just wanted to get this out of the way first - I think when this one came out was when I became aware of this project and been meaning to check it out ever since... so almost a fucking decade

I fucking love the raw sound of the drums on collapse but the guitar tone is complete ass. Still love the album though and do believe it's some of his best songwriting

Not wrong, but that one the iffy production always felt like it worked in its favor for the atmosphere, as opposed to the (pre-re-mixed) tone on Social Disservices

the guitars on Collapse definitely could use a fix for sure. it's definitely a drum-focused album imo but even then, guitars are too weak.
