the only thing I could say bothers me with this album are the clean vocals. they sound even gayer than the Dream Theater vocalist. More like Brett Manning.

Exactly. The vocals are on the Brett Manning level of gay. Dude sounds like he's trying to be "sophistiqué". Well fuck it, I love this album to death anyway ^^

Last years album by Ana Kefr (also BM influenced prog) was waay better for me, this album is really loosing its power.

Shame indeed.

My original listen was just for the violin, after about 30 or so full album plays, it really did kind of grow on me, only in the sense that things i didn't really like so much (the clean vocals) i actually like a little more now. I still like Portal Of I better than anything Cradle Of Filth ever released. :-D
