I think I've already said it but I'll say it again, Burn a Miracle is fucking awesome. Lyrics, verses, chorus, vocals, guitar, drumming, everything, it's just incredible. Classic Say Anything.

I liked 'Burn A Miracle' until the :45 mark. The stereoman part, and after 3:05 were better, but not quite in great or redeeming territory. The album's songs tend to have great starting hooks and sometimes good reflective endings, but the middle goes places I'm not excited to follow.
@Cutman Hm don't know much prog rock, my 'background' is film soundtracks J-rock, and more recently harder genres. The song I think of first with an epic dark to light transition is 65dos's Radio Protector... so yeah tastes and background do affect what I like (melodic, instrument-heavy stuff?) and don't.
This album called 'Who Speaks for Planet Earth' would probably get dismissed by half the site right away, cause it's "emo dance". But I like it a lot. So to each his own, right? I'm just enjoying this debate (perhaps too much with these long comments)

@mastille: Oh, believe me, I know what you mean. I could discuss/debate music all day.
And, actually, I see the album you mentioned has a solid 3.4, I'd say that's not too bad, so, not
really dismissed. And I'm listening to "The Hospital", and.... I'm enjoying this, too, actually. This is fun. Kinda needed something like this today, I'm glad you mentioned them.

I was thrilled to have another "Admit It" type track in "Admit It Again". I always loved the former, so it was great to get the latter.

Absolutely. It's such a fun tune, and is definitely one of my new favorites by the group.
And SilentPotato - "dunno why most of you ever listened to this to begin with" really now? lol.

What? Admit It Again hardly resembles the original at all. It's terrible, possibly the worst song on this album.

There really isn't that much of a difference.

I may or may not be a Ritalin-addled child. But nah, I really wouldn't say there isn't, unless you're speaking exclusively about the lyrical content. The major difference there is that Max dispels the proto-typical non-conformists AND himself in the original song, whereas in this track he leaves himself out of the picture. Sonically, though, I would venture to say the tracks are pretty similar.

Admit It Again is pretty cool. His voice is just really bad on this album.

Man, I honestly love the way he sounds in that song at least. I can empathize with you on other songs, like maybe Peace Out, though.
