With some of the crap I hear on the tv/radio I just can't see how some of these ratings are justified.... I guess some folks just want to hate.

^ That assumes that we also don't already hate the "crap" on the tv/radio, which I think would be an
incorrect assumption. While mainstream radio/tv pop/rock is generally devoid of any level of
intelligent thought, creativity or instrumental competency, at least that trash is sometimes catchy.
This body of work, however, is painful to the point of laughter.
