Yeah, I don’t think there’s any artist that could sustain the quality of Homogenic and Vespertine for a career, but both this and Vulnicura are excellent in their own right, just victims of inevitable comparison

This is her best since the ‘first 4‘ and comparable to Debut, in fact it isn’t far off Post. She’s ‘guilty’ of setting a standard that’s difficult to match, but also many of her experimentations were lost on people (including me), this is ‘modern’ Bjork at her best and I certainly don’t see it as inaccessible. The flair, the quirkiness etc. I still there but mostly, it’s fun... just in a less overtly irksome way than Volta was, for instance.
