For me, this is much easier to digest than Diadem. I see myself coming back to this much more frequently than that purely due to it's length

If length is holding you back then you shouldn't listen to black metal. That's like saying production is holding you back. That's just how black metal is.

I enjoy a fuckload of black metal. Length has nothing to do with it. Diadem is a 60 minute album and it FEELS like it's 60 minutes. Granted, the material on it is awesome but still. This is about 10 minutes shorter, and feels like it's about 20 minutes shorter. Time just flys by with this album.
