He probably graduated a decade ago and still gets his ass beat when he walks by the school

“KEK, imagine seriously thinking that, the Tracker scene is alive”
yep, alive and well. for every 5 million people using ableton or fruity loops there’s one dedicated synth nerd making shitty beats on his software that was last updated in 2003

This is finally growing on me after over a decade of attempts to get into this one.
The overall experience still kind of feels same-y (despite sounding so wild and all over the place). But I'm able to pick out some highlights now. The singles, ofc, but also Mt. St. Michel is probably one of his GOATs. Really stands out.

It's quite consistent, half the tunes are slow plucky piano pieces and the other half is just batshit crazy Aphex Twin-channeling-Breakcore-style pieces.

never worked for me

I was really late to get into it, but it blew me away on first listen and became an all-time favourite pretty much straight away.
|

okay I lied I guess I just jam this one less because of the sheer length and I've just never been crazy about all the piano diddys that are placed throughout

Ok this is definitely at least bumping up from a 3.5 to a 4. The same-y-ness goes away after awhile and you can discern distinct forms.
Greatly enjoy this is a 1.75hr long record; Have enjoyed just putting it on and getting lost in it doing work.

Bbydhyonchord is such a vibe. What an under-appreciated "interlude"-type track.
