not sure what ya'll think sucks about this, the vocals aren't whiny like typical pop-punk and the lyrics are good, and though the instrumentation isn't very technical at all, it's tight and works together. they are awesome live too. that said i don't think i can go to a pop-punk concert again, way too many little shitheads and all the songs did seem to mesh into eachother. need to find a more chill show like the national or something

yeah....totally gotta do that
|
| |
but honestly tho, do you actually think this sucks, or just in the sense that it doesn't sound that different from other pop-punk bands? like if this was the only pop-punk you'd ever listened to would you still have such a strong opinion of it sucking?

i cant tell you how i would feel if this was the only pop-punk album i'd ever heard. thats kind of silly.
i think it sucks because ive heard it all before, this is the style of pop punk that was listenable to me in like 2005 or 2006, it doesnt excite me anymore not even a little bit. this guys vocals bug the shit out of me; you claim he doesnt sound like other whiny pop punk vocalists but to me thats bullshit.

yeah it's pretty generic and just annoying, i personally don't like how the production sounds either its just not a great record at all and i actually enjoy a good amount of pop punk. this is just everyday, flamboyant pop punk with above average songwriting, an annoying vocalist and average songs
|
| |
werd. i could understand that. just recently started listening to pop-punk (outside of just FOB and shit) so it hasn't gotten stale for me, but i am pleasantly surprised that there is a decent variation in pop punk if you look for it
|
| |
i'm not getting the whole generic thing since i haven't listened to that much pop punk, but i'm really not understanding the generic pop punk vocalist thing. guess i just won't know where ya'll are comin from til i listen to more pop punk
|
| |
which i'm not gonna be able to do for a while after that 6 hour pop punk fest last night
