Both albums are 5 imo for different ways but its just so insane how they have Dark Nebula AND Accelerating Universe as the book ends of this record, its like you listen to the whole album and then the final boss, the big daddy Accelerating Universe is here to finish things, that's fucking metal! m/

That soft break in Accelerating Universe is so incredibly beautiful. Amazing considering how chaotic the album is.

5/5 debut

Album Rating: 4.5
so I must assume you don't give 5's nor 4.5's to debuts!? X)

I have Bergtatt and In the Nightside Eclipse 5'd cause those are 5/5 albums lol. For a debut this album is killer, but it's a riff fest smorgasbord that doesn't compare to Outer Isolation or Terminal Redux in its songwriting and ambition. Just like Decapitated Winds of Creation is a 5/5 debut.. but probably a 4 or 4.5 album for me

Agreed there. Outer Isolation is a little more restrained & concise than this, then Terminal is crazy ambitious but the song-writing is more refined, ultimately TR is the perfect culmination of their previous works.
