"Enjoy this while you can, soon Drake and co. will bleed every bit of musical integrity out of this guy."
"If it happens or Drake just copy the fuck out of it, I will be seriously pissed."
you guys are idiots. was hoping a release like this which is more out of left field for most of y'all (being r&b and all and most of you not listening to that) but still managed to reach you guys would cause you to actually revisit shit like drake (whose album and mixtape are both really really awesome, fyi) which you probably never even heard in the first place cuz you were all like "mainstream shit pFFFFFT" but i guess not lol you guys suck.
also LMAO at the idea of drake "ripping this off", "shut it down" came out like a year earlier and resembles this (and is among the better tracks on here in terms of quality).

but i mean Mainstream Shit Sucks!!!!! Drake Will Suck The Lifeblood Out Of This Underground Project

I definitely don't think Drake is horrible like a lot of people so I'm pretty interested to hear a collaboration between them.

Drake is nothing like that. Drake is not bad, but don't ever said they are alike. They have different style and I prefer this over Drake.

It's not a question of whether Drake is good or not; I like his albums. I did not find this through any lame Twitter feed either. The simple fact is, these songs with their off-kilter production and their runtime, will never be commercially viable. Obviously he signed with Drake to reach more people and make more money, hence A + B = The Weeknd dumbed down. On another note, this guy's range obliterates Drake.

roberston is the only who gets Drake guys, the rest of y'all are just lamestreamers who ironically listen to r&b

Lol @comment. Coleba you're right about range too. BTW, robertsona is always like that so who cares.

Yea I mean, don't get me wrong, I think Drake's clean deliveries are pretty cool, but sweet jesus, the production on a song like 'Show Me a Good Time" (a pretty good song vocally) is fucking abysmal and I think the chances of The Weeknd strolling in with his own producers and telling Drake's to gtfo are like slim to none, with an emphasis on none.

"Obviously he signed with Drake to reach more people and make more money, hence A + B = The Weeknd dumbed down."
Has it ever occurred to you that the mainstream record industry might actually let The Weeknd continue doing what it has been doing, or are you simply too enamored of the idea that "commercial" music is somehow inherently "dumber" than, uh, "non-commercial" music, whatever the hell that means?
