It's definitely his thickest, and most instrumental, and maybe most emotive, but I dunno. There is a shift that I can't quite pinpoint outside of that, and I'm not necessarily against it, but it's hard for me to decide how I feel about it. I'll probably just 5 this in a couple of weeks, so no worries.

i agree - it's in those final moments that it hits its emotional resolution, but it just sounds like loss to me. all the staticy white noise and droning fades away into this arresting piano and ambient track. it has the most clarity of any song on the album, and to me that sound is one of letting go of someone or something. it's an incredibly poignant moment, and i find it devastating. it's interesting how other people interpret it though
