When he raps "I sent this bitch a picture of my dick" in a song as heart-wrenching musically as Runaway, he almost single-handedly turns the entire thing into a parody. Luckily the rest of the song's lyrics are much better, but there are quite a few moments like that on this album where I found myself kind of just shaking my head at the lyrics. Luckily Kanye's always been about much more than lyrics so it doesn't really hurt this album or any of his albums, but objectively speaking he's nowhere near an elite lyricist in the rap game. He relies way too much on punchlines.
Just my opinion, of course.

best review ive read for this album anywhere.. great job man. i felt the same way about the length and the guest features.. if you look at the tracklisting it seems overwhelming, but when you just listen it works so well..

ive always liked kanyes production a lot more than his rapping, although he definitely has his moments where i really love what hes doing, and there are a lot more of those on here than anywhere else, plus the guest appearances are great, i love jay-z on so appalled especially.
