Just read what everybody has to say on songmeanings.com that's what I do

The music itself makes sense to me on a completely emotional level with no need for words at all, but the words just put it over the top

"That guy isn't here anymore.

Anybody who comes into the

forest will be lost.

Everybody will become a Stalfos.

Everybody, Stalfos.

So, he's not here anymore.

Only his saw is left. Hee hee.

Heh heh heh.

Are you going to be... too?

Heh heh!"

he is saying that most stuff is bullshit, and with that implying that all of this may be without purpose or intrinsic value, hence nihilism

He doesn't talk about meanings, he's like David Lynch

The Cold Part is still pretty much the best song ever

if every song were as good as that one this would probably be my favourite album of all time

dude what the actual fuck it's one of probably only about 8 songs ever I'd call perfect

the violins, reverbed guitars in background, vocals, lyrics, every single part is perfectly positioned

to create such a cold and delicate atmosphere it's unreal

how do you even go about starting writing a song like that. there's got to be a certain amount of luck

no way man i'm not letting this go

I like the rest of the album but that song has a completely different sound and almost stands as a separate entity, imo. there definitely isn't another song that makes me feel like that one

agree with you

tiny cities made of ashes, different cities, the cold part, alone down there and stars are projectors is probably one of the best runs within the middle of an album that i've ever heard
