I think you need to tell someone about this as soon as possible. If your mother is not aware you need to make her immediately.
If not, it may be possible for her or another family member to discuss his violence with him, he must be told that this is completely unacceptable and must not be repeated.
If you will not be supported by family members then maybe think about speaking to a teacher or friend who you are able to trust and who can give you advice.
Either way you must consider reporting your father to the police. What he is doing is illegal and dangerous for you both physically and emotionally.
In England there are many support organizations for victims of domestic violence including refuges where you can stay in an emergency should you have to leave home because of abuse.

Most of B-Sides from deluxe version of this album are excellent. "Devotion", "Long Time Sunshine", "Getting Up and Leaving", "Waiting On You" are awesome. "You Gave Your Love to Me Softly" melodically resembles "Buddy Holly" (in the way), but it's a decent song still. "Tragic Girl" is great melodically, but over-dramatic and it seems drawn out. "I Just Threw Away the Love of My Dreams" is a fun song, which features some chick's vocal. "I Swear It's True" is simply boring.
