Had a feeling you'd dig this one Hawks, the next three SKM (skipping the Modest Mouse covers album!) are all classic too but maybe a little tougher to get into straight away

Salvador Sanchez is definitely not top tier given that it’s just a worse version of the best song here

'Crazy how rapidly SKM (Kozalek) took a nosedive after Benji.'
Sort of, there are some absolutely stellar tracks on 'Universal Themes' and 'Common as Light' - those two were still quite beloved by the fans and critics.
After those two all bets are off.

I need to give both of those another shot, I suppose. Last time I tried (several years ago, to be fair), I checked out halfway through the record.
Which is still better than his last few albums, wherein I couldn't make it through the second track.

Easily prefer that one over Admiral - never impressed me apart from Alesund
Mostly agree with tec's ranking, except I'm not fond of Salvador Sanchez. Pancho Villa >>
