The solo is good, but i still think the song itself isn't as good as the rest. It's still a really good song though. And DIYA has crappy lyrics, but overall its still a nice song. I think it's nnice to have a song that doesn't have any screaming in the middle of a cd that is essentially screaming.

I gave these guys a try, and maybe its because I'm over the "metalcore" stage, but I dont see what the appeal is. Yeah, they have a good lead guitarist, but it seems like everything in this genre sounds the same to me now. Anyways, its a nice effort by this band with some tight musicianship, but it just doesnt stand out...

Check Triviums Rock am Ring Performance out! Matt is singing like James Hetfield! Quite weird hearing the songs off Ascendancy with the vocals not screamed. I hope to hell the crusades is good. And to all the Metallica fans wishing they would release another 'Master Of Puppets', looks like Trivium are going to do that for them! btw NEW MAIDEN ALBUM DETAILS REALEASED!!!

The world doesn't need another Master of Puppets. What it needs is more bands with the quality and consistency of Iron Maiden, Tarot, Slough Feg, and Primal Fear.

The world needs another Metallica like I need a third ass cheek.

Notice how there can be no analogy involving Metallica without money being involved somehow.

Do you honestly think you could make a better album?

Honestly, I didn't think he deserved a better answer than "Yes, I could."

I've come to the conclusion that the people who think you cannot criticize until you have achieved the same have their heads jammed so far up their asses that nothing I say or do will change their minds. So I just give them the answer they want least of all and hopefully that drives them away.

But a simple yes might bring him back. If you say something smart like you usualy do then that would scare him off because then he'd know he's dealing with someone who obviously knows more than he does. But by saying just "yes" he might come back. Nothing to do but wait and see.

solid review, i'll disagree with you on your rating though, i thought it was an oustanding album, and i've heard they're new songs, and i'd say they are sub par at best
