Rising is the better album overall for me but this one has his best vocal performance. H&H is absolutely brilliant as well.

Agreed on the vocals, Caught In The Middle makes me freeze I really love the last part.

Yeah, it is. This is also superior to Rising because a) it's more consistent and b) Rising is also a little on the short side

I'd take Rising over this for sure. It may be short, but the last two songs beat anything on here.

The last two songs are something else, yes, but then I always seem to prefer the 'fuller' album experience at the end of the day. This being no exception.

I don't either really, but when choosing between two records such as these, both containing their share of fantastic moments, I suppose I do tend to go for the longer one.

I prefer shorter albums so Rising's length is fine for me. Master of Reality is only 34 minutes and its not a problem.
