This is still miles ahead of ToT and Octavarium and other poopy albums they did after this one (aside from a couple)

Very underrated indeed

underrated [2]
There's some good cuts on here, but it's easy to hear that they were forced to commercialise by their label. Hell's Kitchen is a bop tho.

I try to block out the lyrics to Hollow Words cuz it is a fairly pleasant song without listening to what is being said.

Man, Lines in the Sand is still one of my favorite extended DT tunes. The vocal tradeoffs between James and Doug in the choruses are just fantastic

Yeah this much better than train of thot, agreed

This has a load of total bullshit

@Pika: Definitely agree with that these days. If anything, ToT and Octavarium have grown off me more than any other DT albums; I still enjoy them enough, but they used to be two of my favorites by them once upon a time
Oddly enough, Systematic Chaos actually ended up being slightly better than I remember, despite still having some serious duds on it (especially Forsaken and Prophets of War)

Has anyone jammed the demo version of this

No, but that rating and those soundoffs definitely intrigue me. I didn't even know there was a demo version, let alone one that's apparently better than this
