IMO this is their best, but all of their first three records are good places to start. The two records that came before this are incredibly passionate sprawling, lo-fi epics whereas here much more emphasis is placed on atmosphere; its much more refined and layered. Check out the opener to each record, as all are amongst the best songs on their respective record and should give you a good indication of what it will sound like.

Haha first 15 tracks. Idk man I love this but it doesn't hit me as hard as everyone else. Certain songs do, but not the thing as a whole.

Tiny Cities, The Cold Part, The Stars Are Projectors, Alone Down There. Like I said, mostly stuff in the middle section of my stand out favs.
