Post-Metal Noob Guide:
One listen of 98% of post-metal shouldn't captivate you if you aren't into it. Give it at least a few more spins and don't try too hard to pay attention to it all the time and it will start to surprise you within a few days with little intricacies playing through your head. You will wonder where the fuck it is from, what song, and at what point in the song did you hear it. This is when you'll play the album back and wait in anticipation for the part that you want to hear. You'll find it and then you'll start thinking "shit, this could maybe be good" and you'll play it about 5 more times and love it to death and turn into a psycho post-metal slut.
There is the rare case of faggotry where retards simply never click. I thought my best friend was one of those, but after 2 years of me annoying him he is now thanking me.
