i actually agree with a good 80% of what theyre saying. the other 20% is generally pointless bullshit that guys like lakes get really worked over like militant atheism but generally those songs are still good as hell musically cause everything they do is good as hell musically
anyways its supposed to be angry and in yr face and cynical its like part of their whole aesthetic it wouldnt work without it bro

I think that's part of the point
I mean the guys more or less say this on "Shop Till You Drop Dead" when they go "I HAVE NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT BUT I KNOW I'LL STILL DO IT", I think it's part of their whole thing of often taking pretty minor things and blowing them out of proportion, sometimes for laughs (And they are pretty funny sometimes)
