My goodness, this is amazing. Like melodic death metal one time, deathcore another, teen metalcore another, and Meshuggah yet another. Never yet seen such a blend of genres in one band's songwriting. I fucking love this album.

Some people, apparently... I swear, this is like the only band who makes teen metalcore fragments and melodies bearable and even fun.

And I wouldn't say it's pure deathcore, obviously. Just like The Boy Will Drown isn't, though they're not very similar

I hate the original version. Haven't heard the re-release
I think it's the original I heard anyway

Re-Release is the shit.

don't know if I can be bothered to check it out
|

This is about as close to a 5 as it can get for me. Notarmaso is a fucking vocal powerhouse, especially live.

^^^This so damn hard
|
| |
It's not a five. Sounds so similar to the original there was no point re-recording it.
|
| |
it sounds a bit different. the vocals are way better. and the intruments sound more clear.
|
| |
Re-Recording someone else's vocals and lyrics is dumb.
|
| |
why?
|
| |
Because lyrics are personal. You can't re-create the emotion from someone else's vocal performance.
