Haha thanks man. There's always so much drama on TBS threads... this is such an awesome album, folks. Let's focus on the music, shall we?

After listening to the album again and reading the lyrics from the booklet it's nice to see guns making their first real reappearance lyrically since TAYF... (Cute, There's No I In Team, and Timberwolves)

No other songs come to mind from other records (besides Number #5 With A Bullet), correct me if I'm wrong

Summer, Man:

Nine, forty five, twenty two

Nine, forty five, twenty two

.9, .45, .22...

Cut Me Up Jenny:

You are the polished pearl grips of your father's forty five...

Long Time Comin':

Loading your father's father's gun

The one he smuggled back from Germany

After the war was won

You told me he ain't gonna miss it

So from what I gather Chauntelle's grandfather passed a gun down the family and she used it in an attempt to murder Adam (perhaps before she batted her eyes and balled a fist?), which is why they broke up. ROFL

Yeah, I've noticed the guns references too. I was discussing them with some people last week on the tbsunion's boards.

I think it's a very well written review. I'm actually proud of being part of a music community that

praises good music instead than shoving shitty bands as the next big thing of the summer (aka The

Dangerous Summer and All Time Low). In its genre, New Again is one of the best things released this

year. Besides ap.net, this is being praised everywhere.

Anberlin and Envy On The Coast doing the gang shants. Epic, I say.

haha yeah straylight loved the gang chants. and the performance is actually pretty decent too. pop/punk bands like TBS are always better live with a frontman who doesn't play an instrument on stage. and his limp non-mic hand reminds me of Aaron Gillespie lol.
