Glad to see we all came to agree and thank you for your praise atrink. The majority of those involved in this conversation were intelligent.

"spiritual" is such a bleh word that makes it sounds like Aaron is some new age guy broadcasting fluff

I see value in separating this from Christian America which just fucking sucks at life, but to me this is the epitome of what Christian music should be

idk there are christian ideas of course, but i think they're right in saying that this is more about spirituality in general than evangelism and christianity strictly. a lot of christians would frown on some of these songs.

Christians have frowned on this....enough to the point they dont sell these cd's in christian bookstores cause of the hindu stories and the use of the word "Allah".

which honestly...is really retarded yet funny consider this is easily their most spiritual album.

God is God is God is God no matter what religion we're seeing him through.

Completely agree....and yea Aaron seems to follow that concept quite a bit in this album.

As someone who is not religious and certainly not Christian, I can say that this album is incredible. Especially the lyrics. Aaron Weiss could have just wrote lyrics that praised God and trashed 'sinners', but he instead presented an open forum for discussion with crafty lyrics and intelligent metaphors.

the crescendo of pt.2 reminds me of Bright Eyes' "The Calendar Hung Itself"

Brother, Sister will give you a good taste of all of their styles. If you want the more hardcore stuff, go to A->B Life. But yeah, pay attention to the lyrics, they are breathtaking.
