When I first discovered Rateyourmusic.com and saw the "Best of Albums" chart, I must say I was shocked NOT to see "Hysteria" in the top 100. To me, it was if the entire music listening community had suffered a memory lapse and had forgotten just how impossible it was to escape this record at the end of the 80's. Hit after hit! Video after Video! Party after Party! "Hysteria" was just everywhere. Side #1? All hits. One after the other. Maybe it's just nostalgia at my lost teenage years, but this record is coming to the desert island with me, big hair, big production and all of it.
