you're playing with fire sonnie.

Basically yeah but this still rules, especially King of Those Who Know. Song is sexy.

Poet, that's my favourite song off this.

Kind of like asking "who wants to join the Tard Nation?"

Stop pretending to like music that's average.
|
| |
If this is average i'd hate to listen to good music.
|
| |
it would be way to overwhelming for our mortal ears
|
| |
just wish the vocalist was talented enough to not have to use a vocador, which sounds exactly the same in every song.
|
| |
I think it fits nicely with the whole spacey sound of the album...

The Space For This was always my favorite.

I'm late on my defense...
I used the wrong term, no it's not "heavy metal." But this is metal, and I don't know how to classify it otherwise. Progressive metal would probably be the best phrase, considering the mix of styles with the intensity.

Cynic without the vocoder well...wouldnt be Cynic.

"Cynic without the vocoder well...wouldnt be Cynic."
agreed. this is probably for the best though!

You seem to be in the minority. Cynic probaly wouldnt have such a cult following everywhere if there formula was slighty different (no vocoder) than it was now. And besides, it's not anymore obnoxious than power metal falsettos, pretentious My Dying Bride singing, or depressive black metal wailing.

pretentious My Dying Bride singing

already noted that. maybe i just hate vocadors?
|

motherfucker are you going to keep repeating me? Bitch i'll fucking stab you in the throat.
