The heavy parts are kinda Hatebreedish to me. If Hatebreed had more generic breakdowns. Maybe it's just the hardcore vocals, which are definitely similar.

Great, but this review isn't at all what you would call 'neutral', most of it came off as a hatefest and you really gave proper reasoning for anything. I find it hard to believe you think this album would only cater to a small minority of people, yet it's possibly one of the 'biggest' albums inside it's genre and earned them more fans than any of their previous releases.



The VersaEmerge appearance was probably the most 'laughable' thing on the album actually, at this point it ACTUALLY seemed like it was trying to be serious and failing. The other parts I think you got a little bit confused between this and 'fun' (which is entirely what the band has always been about)... Maybe you should focus more on the actual content of the album and less on the little bits in between like 'silly' intros and 'silly' breakdown shouts.



Right at the start of the review you essentially said the premise of the band is 'gay', so I'm not really surprised you don't like it.

No.. it was just more of a rant at it's occasional 'fun' moments than anything you would consider a balanced review. Also the only attempts you made at actually describing the album were about as far off/un-informative as you could have possibly made them.

Dude, ADTR is completely horrible. Album sales say nothing. Look around you at the majority of people in the world, & tell me that their opinion is educated or worth anything at all. Album sales especially mean nothing when you're part of a shitty labels cash cow & get your fanbase only from persistent marketing. THIS BAND SOUNDS ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE OTHER SHIT. HOW MANY TIMES CAN I TELL THIS TO STUPID FUCKS LIKE YOU?



Check out "The shape of punk to come" by The Refused, then listen to your beloved Blink-182 & tell me that ADTR is nothing more than a copy of bands that blended those 2 styles better than ADTR ever could.



If you don't know of a better pop-punk/hardcore band (you obviously don't...) then I suggest you actually find better music instead of settling down on the first shitty variation you hear of something.
