I didnt say or suggest that the two were related... Your tone in the review just sounds as though you are an authority on music composition
you suggested that if by chance i had never written music then perhaps i was not in any position to truly 'understand' the fabulous musicianship of this band
and my tone suggest i'm an authority on music composition? that's got to be one of the stupidest interpretations of this review i've seen, and trust me there have been some really shortsighted ones. there isn't anything in there to imply that i think of myself as an 'authority' of any kind other than an amateur critic who reviews albums in his spare time. my own knowledge of musical theory doesn't play a part at all in a review of a shitty metal album.

meh, I thought you were trying to defend your point of vue, and then I saw:
