i'm surprised everyone heard great gig in the sky or something first. i'm almost positive the first pink floyd song i heard was wish you were here or another brick in the wall pt. 2 or something like that
or Money. That and Another Brick Part 2 are probably the best known Floyd songs. Well, at least where I live.

Only two years between Wish You Were Here and Animals. And though the cant be much more difference between the two albums.
Both Pink Floyds best work and pure masterpieces.
Wish You Were Here a seamless album of perfection and with all members of the group making vital inputs to the album.
Animals an album where Mason and Wright is put away and where Gilmour and Waters have an epic battle between the importans of lyrics (Waters) and music (Gilmour) on the album. The epic battle with no surrender makes a rough in coherent album but where the battle of the creative giants makes a masterpiece of a PF album.
Dogs, Pigs and Pigs on the Wing are masterpieces of songs. Dogs one of PFs best songs ever. And also a tune with some of Gilmours best guitar work and soloes. And that do says a lot.
