well, translation programs are full of shit. you can translate "Heide" as moor and "Rauch" is smoke, but I don't know the word "Heiderauche". actually you could just as well translate it as pagansmoking, if you take it literally. This Message Edited On 02.04.09

"Snüffel" is just the German word for snuff powder. The song is basically about how much they love it. Those of you who a) speak German and b) can actually hear what they're saying (even native speakers have trouble with this):
"Magst auch du einmal probieren,
gib acht nichts ins Gesicht zu schmieren,
und Heulen gilt fei nicht beim Snuff!"
translated:
"If you want to try this too
be careful not to smear it in your face
and crying is not allowed with Snuff!"
Oh, and just in case anybody still cares: "Heiderauche" means "Pagan Smoke", and "Des Sängers Fluch" means "The Singer's Curse", not "The Singer's Grudge".

rly? I've never heard it before, and when you google it, only the song by Equilibrium is found.
also I've now looked up "Heiderauche" and it actually is an old german word for some kind of a special fog or rather air pollution.
you're right about the The Singer's Curse, I've swapped Curse and Grudge (probably because the movie The Grudge is called Der Fluch in Germany ^^)

That would explain the 3/5 rating.
I haven't listened to this in like a year. Everyone seemed to forget about this after the initial whoring of the band when I added the album.

God dammit this album is still so god damn good. It wore off for a while, but I'm really loving it again.

I just bought this album at an F.Y.E. The little album sticker said something like "Pagan, Folk and Black metal at its best!" So, being a sucker for stickers and black folk metal (I thought it might sound like Finntroll) I slapped the sucker into the music previewer-thingy and began to size this band up pretty quickly. Needless to say after listening to about 3 30-second bits of the album, I had to buy it.
This album kicks so much ass it's like old Dimmu on steriods.
