Burden's my favorite next to Coil. If you guys want a Finnish replica of Opeth check out Farmakon.

Thanks Balls...

I am not going to pretend my tastes are unique, because they aren't. Yours, however, are very unique. You can listen to T.a.t.u and Danzig and Opeth!

I never heard of Opeth, was never really a big Black/Prog guy. Saw how highly this was rated and listened. Really an awsome, innovative form of music played by a sick band. Loved every song except Burden and Coil, and I still liked Burden. Vocalist is amazing, as are his lyrics. Reminded me of a harder Coheed and Cambria, if I'm allowed to say that.

yikes...

I am going to defend the kid and say he hasn't had as much musical experience as most sputnik users have, and he is a beginner.

No problem Shootme. Actually, I think i'm one of the only or only person that loves Paramore and S Club 7 as well as loving black/death metal. Love it. Personally, this was the album that made me an Opeth beliver. Still Life is high on my list now.

Paramore sounds like every other rock band made by MTV, just has a hott chick in the middle of it.

The Locus Eater is a bit better than Hassian Peel, imo

It's an awesome album but it doesn't deserve a 5 since Hex Omega and Burden aren't that good songs, they could have been better.

Paramore is colossal shit, I mean really who the hell is going to be listening to that in years to come? I must've listened to Arsis and Opeth albums hundreds of times and only like them more after each listen. Paramore's music is on a timer, just like most mediocre, overhyped bands; their music gets old, fast.

What I love is how my friends every year manage to listen to that junk, praise it insanely and then they prove me right by getting bored of it.

I agree Hex Omega is one of my favorites, with the Locus Eater. Im' going to say Hex Omega is an underated song now, since their is so much dislike for it.

Cleary, which parts of Opeth sound like C&C?
