I love Introduce Yourself...
but yeah i'm basically cool with any new Patton music, if Gould and the boys are involved even better
just wish the impossible would happen and Jim Martin would rejoin the band

"I love Introduce Yourself..."
I mean it isn't bad, but Mosely's voice is a big reason I only have it 3'd.

yeah it's completely different (and worse) than Patton's vocal approach, but Mosely has an odd appeal that grew on me -- especially if I'm in a super cheesy 80s mood

I still haven't checked out We Care a Lot for that reason since it's supposed to be significantly worse...

My least fave, but still great.

Their best, the it's a 3 way toss-up between AOTY, Angel Dust and TRT tbh.

Angel Dust >>
Having said all that, their discog is so fucking good, it's hard to pick favourites.

The Real Thing is easily my favorite

Angel Dust > The Real Thing > King for a Day > Album of the Year
I have all rated 4-5 though so no worries!

Angel Dust and this are the only two FNMs I still regularly listen to anymore
Real Thing's good too but not exactly my cup of tea stylistically

My tastes in general always favored that of traditional heavy metal and hard rock, hence my love for TRT over AD and KFAD. Love them all though.

"Ricochet" sounds like "Killing In The Name"

just wish the impossible would happen and Jim Martin would rejoin the band
He's a big fucking homophobe. He's said numerous times that Roddy is a main reason he won't rejoin. He can stay away for all I care.

This is their best album
If that's really Martin's reasoning then yeah fuck him, Spruance is just as talented anyway
|

Spruance made this album even more Bungle-y.

Not only did he bring out all their disparate styles and fleshed them out as much as could be, he also adds undeniable class

Wash it away...
That line makes me swoon hard.
|
| |
I guess but I'd argue that's as much Patton as it is Spruance
by the time this album rolled around Patton was running the show completely
