Agreed but at least Remission is winning! I don't know, maybe people discovered the 'Don through their later stuff & then when getting to this one it was too crushingly heavy in comparison.

I was interested in seeing them soon but a combination of awkward circumstance surrounding the date of the gig, their recent live reputation & the fact I don't really enjoy their most recent material, pushed me towards rejecting the opportunity.

I enjoy the later and the earlier material, I'm just not interested in shoddy live performances. Like SOAD, god that was disappointing. And the sound mixing was terrible.

I won't lie, still haven't gotten around to hearing the latest album. I didn't like the singles very much & the previous 2 albums did nothing for me. A new 'Don album is no longer a must purchase, or even a 'must make time for' type of deal for me.



But yeah, regardless of what anyone thinks of their latest output no-one wants to see a shoddy live performance. Apparently there's just no energy on stage, I'm sure someone with first hand experience can elaborate.
