rza had a ton of beats already done that were supposed to be for deck's first solo record but they all got destroyed in a flood and the album got delayed by like 3 years. those initial beats were done when rza was on the top of his game so i have no doubt that deck's first record would've been much better than it ended up being had they not been lost.
